Panola Mountain State Park Greenway

Rockdale County, Georgia

As the main attraction for Panola Mountain State Park, the 2.9 miles of greenway trail connections from the Rockdale River Trail to the park visitors’ center and around Alexander Lake were planned and designed by KAIZEN Collaborative to provide opportunities for an exquisite walk/run/ride through some of the most pristine woodlands of the Metropolitan Atlanta area.  Destinations on the greenway include the gorgeous, curved boardwalk bridge spanning the south end of Alexander Lake, the boardwalk observation area with scenic views to Panola Mountain, and the historic Alexander Farm barn which allows users to ride right through the barn.
