Newnan LINC Construction Update - Trail Bridge over I-85 Up-coming!

Newnan LINC second phase is under construction since this summer. This is the 1st portion of the 3.5-mile Newnan Downtown Connector trail.

This phase of the LINC trail will connect from Ashley Park Blvd. to Summerlin Blvd, where the model project ended. It will be a 10’ to 12’ multi-use trail that includes a 278-foot long iconic bridge across I-85. The design team has obtained final approval from Georgia Department of Transportation for the bridge construction and custom signage attached to the outside bridge frame with internal lighting.

Construction is expected to be finished this year.

Emory PATH

KAIZEN is excited to announce that construction has begun on the next phase of the Emory PATH!

A partnership between Emory University and the PATH Foundation, the new section of multi-use trail will connect Emory’s Haygood and North Decatur Connector PATHs (completed Fall 2019).

This segment will add a trail spur connection to Emory Presbyterian Church and Druid Hills High School, including improvements at the intersection of Haygood Drive and North Decatur Road to enhance pedestrian and cyclist safety.

Another segment that will extend the Emory PATH from Haygood Drive and Clifton Road into Emory’s main campus is scheduled to begin construction in May 2020 and will be complete when students return to campus in the fall.
